tried this with our own site (getdial.ai) expecting a hosted "paste URL, get video back" flow, and it's actually the opposite of what I assumed: the web page just hands you a terminal command, and the real work happens locally through your own Claude Code or Codex subscription. worth being upfront about in the listing since "type your startup URL and get a premium video trailer" reads like a web generator to a first-time visitor. once I understood that, the pitch made a lot more sense: you're not paying for GPU/rendering time, you're paying for the direction and judgment layer on top of a coding agent you already have. does the agent ever get the product's positioning wrong on a site with unusual structure, and if so is there a way to correct it mid-run or do you have to restart the whole thing?
@galdayan I do plan on releasing a hosted version hopefully soon.
As for the product positioning, agents are usually very good at extracting and understanding the product, they have a set of tools to properly understand and extra information. They can even take screenshots and visually inspect the site before proceeding with the video creation.
And yes every time a video renders, you can request changes.

@ybouane good to hear the hosted version is coming, that'll make it a much easier sell to someone who doesn't already run Claude Code or Codex daily. the "request changes on render" answer is the reassuring part, means a bad first read isn't a dead end. looking forward to trying the hosted flow when it's out.
