A neat and simple tool for seeing the link-zeitgeist for VCs. Kind of like Techmeme pointed at just the venture community on Twitter.

@chrismessina nice, it looks like: http://www.producthunt.com/tech/... but focused on trending links. Great work!

Yup, just saw that the other day -- we've clearly thinking in similar directions. In fact, an earlier incarnation of the Venture News idea was essentially the pmarcadaily :) Great job on it @josuegio!

Hey y'all! And, thanks for the hunt @chrismessina! My friend @1wu and I built Venture News as an easy way to keep up with the VC community on Twitter. Everyday, we scroll through hundreds of tweets in search of the best links. For @1wu and I, we found that many of our favorite links were being shared by the VC community. So we thought, why not hack something up to make this easier? Venture News follows 300+ VCs, looks at their tweets from the last 24 hours, and shows you their most frequently-shared links. It is perfect for those of you who are interested in VC/startups but don't get Twitter, don't follow all the VCs on Twitter, or don't have time to keep up with their timeline every day. If you have any thoughts, suggestions, etc. we'd love to hear from you in the comments, or at hi@venturenews.co. Oh, and if you're too lazy to check Venture News everyday, we hand-write a daily email with the top links of the day, plus a short blurb about each. Get it in your inbox by subscribing here.
