Ura is a simple recovery app I built after quitting an addiction myself. Instead of acting like a bloated “all-in-one hub,” it focuses on the exact moments people usually relapse or panic — when you actually need help. I’m 19, had no prior coding experience, failed a lot, and shipped this in 2 months. Still early, but built from lived experience, not theory.

I built Ura because I needed it myself. I quit my addiction 7 months ago and realised every app I tried was bloated, overwhelming, or felt disconnected when you actually needed help. I didn’t want a hub with 20 features, I wanted something simple that shows up in the moment. I tried no-code tools, looked for co-founders, and spoke to devs. Nothing worked. So I scrapped everything, taught myself, failed a few times, and shipped my first app in ~2 months at 19. It’s early and still improving, but it’s built from lived experience, not theory. I’d genuinely love feedback, especially what feels useful, confusing, or unnecessary.
