​It started with an idea I saw on Instagram, a boy creating a video montage for his grandfather's 90th birthday. Inspired, I immediately wanted to create a tribute for my own late granddad. I knew my dad would cherish it. ​But the process was a nightmare. I spent hours wrestling with existing AI tools, only to get glitchy facial distortions and unrealistic movements that ruined the sentiment. It took days of trial and error to finally get it right. When I showed the final result to my dad, he cried. ​That reaction, and the struggle it took to get there, birthed Unfreezeit. I realized that capturing a memory shouldn't require a technical battle. I spent the next month burning through API credits to engineer a system that eliminates the distortions and delivers pure nostalgia, so you can focus on the feeling, not the editing.
