Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I always liked the blurry background images you see as hero banners on websites or in the background for some futuristic mockups. Plus, they make really nice wallpaper if you just want to focus. I decided to put together a resource of a bunch of blurred backgrounds you can use for just about anything. They're all from Unsplash, so they're free to use, preferably with credit. Looking forward to seeing what designs you come up with! Eric

Niceee! These are great! Although staring at the page for 30 seconds makes me feel like I need glasses 😅😅

beautiful images! Did you blur them manually or are you using some fancy code stuff? 🤓

@aaronoleary Thanks! I'm way too lazy to blur them all, so I wrote up a quick Node.js script with the JIMP library to process the images and metadata 😅

Nice, simple idea. Can I use this for commercial purposes?

@federicojorge Yep! They're all licensed under the same license as Unsplash—so feel free to use, with credit to the photographer if you can.
