Offline chat via Bluetooth — no internet required

TutChat is an offline Bluetooth messenger that lets nearby devices chat without internet, accounts, or servers. Unlike cloud messengers, it works fully peer-to-peer within ~100 meters — ideal for flights, travel, events, and places with no signal. Messages stay local and private, with no tracking or data collection.

What do you think? …

Arman Mkhitarian
Hey Product Hunt I’m Arman, the founder of TutChat. The idea came up during flights and travel, where there’s often no internet but people still want to communicate. Most messengers stop working without a connection, so I wanted to build something that works entirely offline. TutChat lets nearby devices chat via Bluetooth — no internet, no accounts, and no servers. Everything works peer-to-peer and stays local on devices. Building reliable offline communication turned out to be more challenging than expected, especially around connection stability and background behavior on mobile OSes. I’d love to hear your thoughts, use cases, or feedback — happy to answer any questions!
