This is amazing - so happy for you guys! I love finance apps. Transactions looks hip and modern! Congratulations on the launch! 🔥

As someone with multiple credit cards, this sounds really incredible because a lot of times I keep wondering where I spent that money - because the charge on card just shows the payment gateways name e.g. Razorpay (stripe of India). And obviously I have to look at multiple apps to see all my spends

@abhishek1846 Right, with all of your cards liked, you can see any time annoying charges you for anything.

I really really like this idea. I’ve been using other apps that show your transactions and help you budget and they just feel so bloated. At the end of the day, I want to keep an eye on where my money is going daily and this is by far the easiest way to do it. I’m super excited to dig in. Nice work!

@kylevenn Thanks Kyle! Give it a spin and let me know what you think.

Let's face it: personal finance apps are confusing and hard to use. They're bloated with features that most people don't need, and you still have to do a ton of stuff manually. They have complicated interfaces with custom designs and an onslaught of onboarding screens, coach marks, and tutorials. Transactions is unique because it's literally just an inbox. Every time any of your cards are charged, you automatically get an unread notification. This makes it effortless to keep an eye on your spending across all of your cards in a single list. It works just like your native email and text messaging apps with clean, standard iOS design. But it's really an "inbox with benefits". The app gives you superpowers that make your bank apps look like Stone Age technology: 💰 Put your card down for that dinner? Add a note with who was there, then Venmo people straight from the app. 🏷️ Want to remember to expense something for work? Save it for later or add a tag. 📍 Forgot what that really good restaurant was? Open the map and find the transaction on the map. 🚨 Added an extra zero to that tip by accident? Catch billing errors with the timeline between the pending and posted amounts. Plus the table stakes: get push notifications when you're charged, search past transactions, and export everything to CSV with a single tap. And before you ask, Transactions uses Plaid to link your cards (which basically all other finance apps like Venmo, Betterment, and Acorns use) so everything is end-to-end encrypted and completely private. Every user is allowed to link their primary card for free forever, and get all of those superpowers mentioned above. Pro users can link multiple for $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year, starting with a free trial. This mostly goes toward maintaining the encrypted connections with the banks. Transactions and the Pro subscription also sync seamlessly with the other Finance Kit app, Budget Burndown. If you're in the US or Canada, Transactions is now available on the App Store. If you're in a place that's not yet supported, please share your interest and we'll try to make it happen! Anyway, I honestly worked hard on this and would love your feedback. I want these apps to be as useful to you as humanly possible, so ideas are more than welcome too. Happy to discuss in the comments! Is there dark mode?

I'm a longtime fan of this developers' other app, Budget Burndown, so downloading Transactions was a no brainer for me. It's a wonderful complement to Budget Burndown's philosophy of minimalist budgeting. For someone who just wants to keep an eye on my spending, these apps are quite literally perfect. For the most part, I've only used Transactions core offering: viewing a clean, beautiful inbox for all the money I spend. I've also used the Venmo split feature a few times and it's very convenient. The concept of an inbox for transactions is so simple but so powerful at the same time. Between this and Budget Burndown, I've finally found a system that works perfectly for the way I like to budget. Well done 👏.

@hbb Thanks Harrison, appreciate your support. Glad you're finding both apps helpful!

I finally have a clear picture of where I’m spending my money! My favorite thing is the tag feature. Tags make it super easy to remember to expense work charges or venmo friends for dinner. Added bonus: you can venmo directly from the Transactions app. Couldn’t be simpler.
Gavin King
@amber_nordahl Agreed, I (quite literally) can't even count the times I've forgotten to Venmo people...
