My team actually geeked out over using Trainual. I had no idea how much they wanted to have our processes documented and in on centralized place. They've even started to create a few of their own.

Pros:

Intuitive and easy to navigate. Love having all processes in one place.

Cons:

None that I've come across yet.

Thanks Beth! Great to hear the team is loving it!

Just started using the new version so no cons at this time.

Thanks Tonya! A lot of your earlier ideas made it into this version so we're glad you love it! Did you see that the old "move" feature is back? ;-)

Perfect tool for that growing company to self-build documentation of company or industry specific processes. We see a lot of companies struggling with creating clear on-boarding processes. This can simplify and help answer all those problems.

Pros:

Perfect for HR onboarding

Cons:

None as of yet

Thanks Ryan! I appreciate the support! The tool definitely helps with clear, automated on-boarding and documenting company processes. Let us know if you have any other ideas or use cases that we should address! :-)

Huge fan of this system and think all companies need a step by step playbook of all of their processes.

Pros:

Super duper easy to use for employees and employers. Its simple so gives you a ton of flexibility.

Cons:

For some information the format isn't the best but that is 1% of the time.

Founder, Trainual
Thanks Will! We'll tackle that final 1% soon, let me know if you have some ideas! :)

It's helped me maintain quality and consistency even as we scale at a rapid pace. Without trainual, I would be very lost and disorganized.

Pros:

I use it to train my whole team. It's easy to communicate new SOP's and reinforce culture through Trainual!

Cons:

none at the time

Thanks Alex... I'd love any thoughts you have about how to make cultural reinforcement even stronger. We simplified comments and employee to employee engagement in this version outside of the Forum, but I'm curious where you think we could improve more in that area!

I've been using Trainual for a month and it's great. Awesome if you're a small company just trying to put some governance around new hire orientation, skill building, etc. Highly recommend

Pros:

This is super easy to use. Way better than our outdated HR system

Cons:

None

I loved having everything in one place and organized into "need to know" sections when onboarding as a new hire w/ my company. As a growing start-up, we were constantly adding to the training content (typical), and bringing new superstars into the fold was easy because they were getting the exact same thorough rundown of our company history, SOPs, and tools we relied on to function (even when the Founder/top dogs were getting busier, the flow of information wasn't disrupted for new team members). I wish Trainual existed years ago!

Pros:

Easy to navigate, user-friendly (both for trainee and trainer), customized feel for each department within the organization

Cons:

No cons at this point

This is really a fantastic tool to take a painful business need and finally make it manageable. Much needed and appreciated.

Pros:

Pretty, Great User Experience, Practical

Cons:

Doesn't automagically read my mind and write my trainuals, but I guess thats asking a lot.

Agreed, maybe version 3 will finally have some AI in it! I hear Apple is working on a USB-C to Brain adapter.
User10.com + various other products

Great product to fill a gap that project management software hasn't been able to

Pros:

1) Great way to document & teach business processes, 2) Role specific training, 3) Easy accountability for tracking who has done what

Cons:

Would be nice to have reminder checklists on a per project basis, but you can always review the main training for a refresher

Thanks Brad! Yes, +1 reminder checklists. Still figuring out how to incorporate that into the UI, but we are considering a distinction between first time completion and recurring completions. Maybe a brainstorming session is in order?
Director of Production/Operations

It is easy to use, slick and definitely a must have for any business!

Pros:

This is what we use for all of our training modules across departments. We cannot grow our teams without this.

Cons:

No cons for me on this!
