About

Bookmarks are for books, not browsers. Organize your browser tabs into Toby so you can access key resources in one click instead of seven. Toby is browser extension that helps organize your tabs.

Entrepreneur, hacker, and traveler.

Downloaded. Couldn't even try it stopped by request to register account. If every minor Chrome extension would require registration for usage, it would be nightmare. There are OneTab that does similar job very good with no need to provide an email.

This one looks like hustling to get your contacts and spam you.

Pros:

None

Cons:

I'd never recommend anything that requires registration to even see. A small utility like many that has absolutely no need for registration.

Downloaded the product, looks great and perfect for a big problem I have had for years with bookmarks and then later realized that my brownser home page had change to toby?!?! what?? not cool. If you will change a setting in my browser you HAVE to let me know, and if you did let me know then it was not clear AT ALL.

Pros:

Really nice onboarding and interface

Easy to use

Cons:

I got deceived, and now google is no longer my browser home page but is Toby... why?

Yes, it will be nice to import our bookmark to Toby. Love the product but want that feature
Toby changes the "New Tab" page, a function clearly stated in the description in the Chrome Store. If your browser is set to open a new tab when clicking the home button then Toby becomes your home page... You can switch what is opened with the home button in Chrome's settings, which I suggest going through before changing default functionality with extensions.

I don't know, but it's just so great and better than similar stuff out there. It's a bookmark organizer but also I've found myself using it to keep track of seperate projects or a collection of todos and so on,

Pros:

A beautiful and intuitive way to take control of tabs

Cons:

Sometimes the syncing can cause lag

Systems to be high latency with the syncing(?) that makes it difficult to use

Bookmarks are a pain to manage but essential to everyday work, this looks like a very appealing option.

Pros:

New logic to bookmarks, simplicity of use, fast!

Cons:

Left some ideas on their cool idea management app - Wantoo

Absolutely loving Toby. I always find it hard to just close some tabs because I've regretted not remembering a key detail from one of them time & again. Collections are brilliant. UI is beautiful. Just need a few more tweaks here and there and i'm happy with Toby occupying by New Tab page.

Pros:

I had 180 tabs across 5 windows. Now have 30 across 2. Winning.

Cons:

Can't see if my Tabagotchi is dead or alive

Great product!

Pros:

Does the job

Cons:

UI could be better for storing tabs in the long-term

Aspiring product strategist.

Especially helpful when you have so many tabs open that you can't see that they are. Would like colorized days since tab added or last accessed.

Pros:

Helpful organizer

Cons:

UI a bit glitchy when dragging tabs. Need option for smaller UI representations of tabs.

I used to have different New Tab extensions like Momentum, Currently, Focus, Taskade, etc. but now all I use is Toby. It's great, functional, declutters your tabs, and works way better than bookmarks. It's like a home screen of a smartphone but for your browser. One or two clicks are all you need to get to a saved webpage.

Pros:

- Beautiful UI & UX

- Syncs well

- Easy to navigate

Cons:

None!

Great tool if you are project-based. You can easily regroup your meaningful tabs by project and then each time you open a new tab, select from one of these items.

Visually very slick and useful: way better than any bookmark manager I know of.

Pros:

Simple to set-up and do not mess with your workflow.

Tabs can easily be classified by project in a very visual and useful way.

Cons:

Nope

A must have for any tab hoarder. I tried many extensions and browser features over the years and this one is the only one that solved my problem. It's just great at organizing and storing webpages without having to worry about cluttering your bookmarks or losing your research.

Pros:

Great UI, ability to sync across devices, great tab management, and very customizable.

Cons:

People complain about toby automatically setting the home page to the extension page, but that can be turned off easily from the settings..

I absolutely love what you guys are doing. Toby is one of my favorite extensions. Thanks!

Pros:

It's super nice and makes my surfing on the internet so much easier

Cons:

Any cons, just pros

It has everything you need.

Pros:

Great product.

Cons:

None.

Reached out to Toby but there's no response from them. Apparently I'm not the only one with this problem.

Pros:

Used to be good

Cons:

Until I logged out once by mistake. When I logged back in many tabs were missing.
