🚀 Theki is live! 🚀 We built Theki because hiring is broken—job-seekers waste hours cold-applying, recruiters drown in unverified resumes. Instead of guessing who’s legit, we verify skills, projects, and experience with real proof. 🔹 Job-seekers: Get verified credibility 🔹 Recruiters: See proof, not blanket claims 🔹 Everyone: Share a Verified by Theki badge anywhere This is just the start. We’d love your feedback—what’s broken in hiring that you wish was fixed? 💬 Let’s build trust for job-seekers together. 🔥

@masump Hey good question. Users currently self-verify with their own documents, links, or asking a referral. Now where we come in two ways:

1. Community Validation: where other users on the platform will stake in tokens to get the opportunity to become a validator. Validators on our platform assess the credibility of a credential given its supporting evidences.

2. For education and experience credentials specifically, our Chainlink oracles reads the credential, scans multiple databases instantaneously, and weighs in on its overall credibility.

We're releasing these two features to the public within the next 2 weeks 🚀

@kareem_bishr Does Theki provide guidance to job seekers on how to best present their verified achievements?

Kareem Bishr
@grayson_parker2 Thanks for the suggestion. We provide the link and a badge (in markdown format) to share on their github profile readme and discord. I think it’s better to guide them as well. We’re thinking of implementing an NFC feature too so they can tap their phone with recruiters

How does Theki handle situations where there’s a dispute about the authenticity of a claim?

Do you have an appeals process in place for job seekers?

Kareem Bishr

@matthew_flores1 Ah great question. We're set to introduce a token economy on the platform where users on the platform can stake in tokens to get the opportunity to become a validator. Validators follow a framework to assess the credential and it's supporting evidences. Either the majority will agree or challenge the validity of the credential.

Arshan Ahmad

Congrats on the launch! How do you handle the verification process? Looks super interesting!

Kareem Bishr

@arshanahmad Thanks, Arshan! Currently, users self-verify credentials with their own documents, links, or asking a referral. To answer your question, we're soon releasing (within the next 2 weeks) 2 ways to handle the verification:

  • Community validation where users on the platform can stake in tokens to get the opportunity to become a validator. Validators follow a framework to assess the credential and it's supporting evidences. Either the majority will agree or challenge the validity of the credential.

  • Third-Party Database Search: For education and work history credentials specifically, we use Chainlink oracles to scan multiple third-party databases instantaneously.

Product looks great, would love to see this integrated with LinkedIn's Skills section at some point (or building out Linked-based certificates like credly)

Kareem Bishr

@karachlyn Yeah either one of two things will happen: we integrate on LinkedIn as an API, or we become a professional networking site ourselves

Interesting value proposition. As someone who’s done ~300 interviews for Microsoft, I usually judge folks by their project work or their depth of a skill set. It would be nice if theki could assess the candidate on easy, medium or hard questions for react or xyz and give a score. Helps me cut down on interviewing time if theki indeed does a good job. #aiinterview #mcq #interviewvideo?

Referrals and recommendations definitely go way further than anything the candidate says - so that would be great with a LinkedIn reference for authenticity. I can see this as a good LinkedIn augmentation.

All the best!

Kareem Bishr

@mohammad_shabaz_moosa Yes, Mohammed, I appreciate the insight! With your experience interviewing at Microsoft, you know firsthand how time-consuming it is to assess depth of skill just from a resume.

We’re exploring integrating technical skill assessments like HackerRank and Leetcode where job seekers can opt in to graded challenges (Easy/Medium/Hard) to further validate their expertise.

Also 100% agree that referrals and recommendations carry weight. We’re working on ways to integrate LinkedIn references into the verification process while ensuring they’re legit and tamper-proof.

Would love to hear—what formats/guidelines have you found most useful in quickly assessing technical candidates?

How would one contact you to trial their hiring. ATOZ has been looking to recruit the right talent since January.
