Tired of current dating apps who abandon users in the chat feature, we decided we could do it better. The Problem? Modern dating is not only exhausting it’s a part time job. You’re constantly swiping through profiles, endlessly chatting with strangers and rarely meeting. Average users spend 10 hours a week on dating apps and then 2 hours on a single date! Talk about a lot of wasted time for busy people. The Solution? The Meetery. Where there is less chatting, more meeting. We limit the chat feature and made a proprietary calendar to plan actual dates. Instead of chatting we want people to have these conversations face to face, where real connections happen. How does it work? You start with your calendar, set your day, time, number of 15 minute dates and choose a public location populated by Google Places. Then you browse through profiles and when someone catches your attention, send them an invite to meet! There is a 15 minute break in between each date and at the end of the night you rate them with a thumbs up which opens the chat feature to plan a 2nd date or thumbs down to make the match go away.
