Great website . Feels very professional. (And that's kind of a problem) It's too formal/professional looking to be a Artists focused Website. Looking from Art perspective, I'd rather like it more colorful. Focusing on art, not companies. Don't make it look formal. Artists hate that. LinkedIn is already onto getting formal environment for everyone.

The dots is something, which I personally as a designer would not use. We have Behance, dribble and various websites.

I would highly recommend the Dots as it is the only creative platform I would use and trust. I love the feed on the site navigation and it allows you to connect easily with other people. The Dots is an authentic site for people who are dedicated to their craft. The industry zoom events have been a tremendous help to me and I would like to thank the Dots team for their great insight and support to the design community. I would highly recommend the Dots for any creative or company seeking opportunities!

I’ve been on and used the Dots for quite a while now. Finding talent on there is easy and the quality is higher than other platforms I’ve used. Great community feel and plenty of help for people at different levels. Easy to use, good on the eye and great reach of people.

First things first, the Dots is one of the best platforms to exist since LinkedIn! Finally, I have a place as a creative where I can network and get all the insight I need under the same roof. In an industry where breaking in can be difficult at times the company have done an amazing job at making it accessible to all. They don't just cover one area but cover everything from, events, a daily updated job board, a directory of companies, a community ask section and more. There is honestly nothing that can compete with the Dots and gain the loyalty of the community as the Dots have. What makes the Dots different and have kept them thriving is that Pip the founder and the amazing team actually listen to the community. They are always available, accessible, quick to respond and genuinely care about the community and making their experience on the platform better. I have been using the Dots for over a year and I not only have a personal profile but also have a company profile. Which has thrived beyond understanding since setting up on the Dots. We have been able to build our audience and awareness the brand in such a short time through the platform. I can't thank the team enough for all their support. A platform like this for the creative industry has been needed for such a long time and the Dots makes it so much easier for us.

The Dots is an essential social platform for anybody working in the creative industries. Its content is well-curated, inspirational and the network facilitates the privilege to connect with likeminded people who thrive in The Arts. It's a platform which champions progressive conversation, inclusivity and all things innovative. Sign up!

I do believe Dots it's a genius platform in a sense of translating to digital that business should have a personal touch. It's a professional but with a heart what makes people trust. That's what we all need in a digital age. UPDATE: Since I wrote my post I started my own creative studio and Dots has a huge part in it that it has become possible. We made very valuable connections from various industries on the platform that lead for big projects and long lasting business relationships.

The Dots is simply phenomenal! It is fun and easy to use without any of the corporate rigidity that other job networking platforms possess. You can post or answer questions, connect with others working in your creative industry or other industries for that matter, and attend infinite webinars of your choice and that pique your interest. I couldn't recommend The Dots highly enough! Thank you Pip Jamieson.

Using The Dots has been an amazing place not just for expanding my connections but also helping me become more confident in myself as an illustrator and graphic designer. I first came across The Dots from Pip's talk at D&AD 2017 and I feel like I had an advantage leaving uni because I was already connecting with a lot of people from the design industry. Fast foward to now, what's really been useful is the Asks sections where I'm able to ask real questions that I'm struggling on and get feedback from so many willing creatives who have already been through the experience. It's made to be collaborative and encouraging rather than just exchanging of details for future reference. Totally would recommend!
