What do you think? …

Chris Messina

Maybe the coolest thing about this place is the Cybertruck food boxes:

Lyss Luo

@chrismessina This looks worth buying for my home—I'm curious how much this costs actually.

Zac Zuo

Hi everyone, just so you know, I was the one who shared this with Chris.

I hope people can see this as a new way for a tech company crossing into a new industry, and as a testing ground for humanoid robots to enter our lives and start serving us.

I noticed some people might have complicated feelings about Elon, but let's try not to be too political here and focus more on the tech side of this.🙏

@zaczuo I agree with you, this could be example of cross-industry business
Nika

It reminds me of vibes from the 50s, but with the combo of Blade Runner. Personally love it.

Alexis Luo

@busmark_w_nika 100%! My first thought was Blade Runner as well. It's like they pulled that rainy, neon-drenched aesthetic straight from the movie and dropped it on Route 66. Love the vision.

Gin Tse

Eating pancakes while my car charges AND catching a movie? That’s genius, fr. The 24/7 vibes make road trips way less stressful—love this idea, team!

Joey Judd

No way—charging my Tesla while catching a late-night movie and grabbing fries? That’s genius. Does the diner menu have any vegan options too? This is just so well done!

The new Tesla Diner is all about 'modern nostalgia'. As a German, my advice is: be very careful which parts of the past you want to bring back to shape the future.

Another Chris Messina’s launch, another questions for “what we feature” guidelines Vanity and hype, zero value. I could read about this in regular newspaper, not on Product Hunt
Chris Messina

@je_suis_yaroslav Hmm, I'm sorry this bothered you.

Personally I think it's interesting to see companies do stunts in the form of products (e.g. @Uber 's kitty or ice cream deliveries). I don't take all of them seriously nor do I think they're all effective. But they can be useful to get a sense for the zeitgeist, which clearly has turned dark against Elon and Tesla (with good reason).
