Mobile + voice access for Claude Code and terminal AI tools

Termly adds mobile access and voice input to terminal-based AI coding tools like Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and GitHub Copilot. Your AI assistant runs on your desktop (unchanged), but now you can interact with it from iPhone or iPad—review code changes, approve commits, and prompt your AI using voice commands. End-to-end encrypted with AES-256-GCM and zero-knowledge architecture. QR code setup in under 60 seconds. Not a replacement for your AI tools but a mobile extension with voice control.

What do you think? …

Sergey Pratasavitski

Hey Product Hunt!

I'm Siarhei, and I'm excited to launch Termly today!

The problem I was solving:

I use Claude Code and Gemini daily for AI-assisted development - it's incredible. But it's desktop-only (If we are talking about your desktop). When I'm away from my laptop (commuting, in meetings, away from desk), my AI workflow just... stops. I can't review code changes, can't approve commits, can't prompt my AI assistant.

What I built:

Termly is a mobile bridge for terminal AI tools. It creates an encrypted relay between your desktop and phone.

Not a competitor to Claude Code - it's a mobile extension for it.

Works with Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and 15+ other terminal AI assistants.

What makes it special:

- First voice interface for terminal AI tools
- Zero-knowledge encryption (we can't see your code even if we wanted to)
- No complex SSH setup—just scan a QR code
- iPhone/iPad & Android devices support

Current status:

✅ iOS app live on App Store
🔨 Android beta coming Q4 2025
🆓 Completely free (optional donations to support development)

I'd love your feedback on:

1. What AI coding tool are you currently using?
2. Will mobile extension of the terminal boost your productivity?
3. Have you thought about voice input while working on terminal?
4. Is there anything I do not see now, that you'd like to suggest?

Thanks for checking it out! Happy to answer any questions.

@sergey_protoasovitsky This looks great 👍 Congratulations!

Sergey Pratasavitski

@veranika_zdanovich Thank you, very much!

Every time I'm on the go I want to have access to my projects using Claude Code, but I need to open laptop for that.

Now, I just need to use @Termly, exactly what I was looking for my vibe coding!

Thank you @sergey_pratasavitski 💪

Sergey Pratasavitski

Thank you@izdieu , glad to hear that!! I really appreciate this feedback. And I think the same.

Congrats on the launch!

Sergey Pratasavitski

@chilarai Thank you very much!!!

Congrats on the launch 🌸 Most AI dev tools are powerful but chained to the desk, so the moment you step away, your entire workflow freezes. Since this creates a live bridge to desktop-based AI tools, how are you handling latency when running heavier prompts or reviewing bigger diffs from mobile? And do you see voice commands becoming reliable enough for more complex coding tasks, or mainly quick approvals + small edits?
Sergey Pratasavitski

@george_esther like to reed you feedback and questions. If you have good internet at your office and on your mobile phone, then it feels absolutely the same like you are using just Claude Code or Codex or whatever... It is just text which application is streaming through web socket. Not a big deal.

Reviewing large diffs on mobile? Good question. If you’re trying to review them the traditional way, the phone itself becomes the limitation—there’s just a lot of scrolling involved no matter what tool you use. But if you have an AI agent built in, you can simply ask it to highlight or summarize the key sections you want to focus on.

As for whether voice commands will become reliable enough for complex coding tasks or remain mostly for quick approvals and small edits - I think we’re all still figuring that out individually. Sometimes a simple command is all it takes, and other times I can walk through a large, iterative task entirely by voice.

Guy Morad

Congratulations on your launch, noticed you can sign up for early access on your site, is the Andoid Beta live?

Sergey Pratasavitski

@guy_morad Yes Android Beta is live. After you submit form, I will add you to the closed test group in Google Play and will send you a link to the application.

The email you enter should be the one associated with your Google Play account

Sergey Pratasavitski

@guy_morad If you submitted your email earlier today, please resubmit. It seems like Resend which I use was dead today together with Cloudflare

I am seeking for mobile extensions of code agent so long. Your product inspires me. Can not wait for the Android app (Better if not depend on Google Play Framework as some geeks use the pure Android) !
I use Codex for large tasks and Kilo Code for simple edits. Notification boosts my productivity most as it enables me to do other things while the code agent is running in background. Currently I let Codex call a python script when the task is done to send me IM messages. Voice input is very convenient but 1. do not know how to at files 2. kind of embarrassing in public space like office.

Sergey Pratasavitski

@jachinshen Thank you very much for your comment and feedback. You may leave your email in the form on Termly.dev web site and I will add you to the closed test on Google Play. By the way, app should be available for everyone in 1-2 weeks. I will think about tagging files by voice. And about embarrassing - feel the same in public spaces :)

JachinShen

@sergey_pratasavitski Thanks for your reply! Have submitted email in the form.

Sergey Pratasavitski

@jachinshen sorry. It seems like because of Cloudflare outage I stoped getting an emails. Could you please resubmit it once again?

JachinShen

@sergey_pratasavitski Submitted again and received the reply email. I also met the problem of Cloudflare outage. A part of websites I browsed failed.

Dmitrii
Yo, congrats!

Thank you,@dmitriipokidov !!!
