I'm excited to introduce Symphony – an open source playground designed to help developers write programs so GPT-4 can use it's reasoning abilities to run them in sequence based on conversation. Symphony also supports rendering beautiful visual interfaces opening up novel ways for humans to interact with language models beyond text.
You can get started by cloning the repository and adding functions by following the documentation.
Hop into our discord server for some friendly chats and support around our projects. We would love to have you on board and hear your thoughts!
I can't wait to see what you build with it :)
@jrmyphlmn oh my gods I thought you meant developers could create programs to talk to and I was about to be like, just how lonely and antisocial do you think we are? xD
Congrats on the launch haha, love the name!
This is a good idea.
instead of having to use a GUI I can just say things like "Hey excel create a chart that plots all of this data in a histogram" and it figures it out for me.
now someone needs to create Jarvis to incorporate all of this since people are useless and unreliable.
@rrhoover Glad to see you here, thank you Ryan! :D
Most of the use cases I've encountered so far involve some kind of planning, scheduling, or organizing. These often require multiple API calls to be executed in sequence, so it's nice that GPT-4 can handle these sequences gracefully.
The visual interfaces offer a better way for us to precisely identify and debug exact locations of incorrect reasoning performed by the model, so we can help correct its behavior.
