👋 I’m Jozzire, building SuperFam - a privacy-first Family OS for simplifying & securing family life. The app is available on iOS and Android.
SuperFam is privacy-first as a foundational principle, with end-to-end encryption and on-device storage of your family data (includes a "backup to personal cloud" feature)
SuperFam currently helps families across -
1- Family Information Sharing (Documents, Notes, Passwords, Legacy & Asset Information)
2- Shared Family Finances (Expense tracking, Bill management, Spend insights, Budgeting & an AI co-pilot to proactively guide you & your family)
3- Location & Safety (Battery-efficient tracking with automatic arrival/departure alerts across saved places)
4- Everyday Family Life (Reminders, To-Do's, Dedicated AI assistants for family needs)
You can add family members on SuperFam and share things on SuperFam 1:1 or within groups - with full granular control over what you share - and who you share with. All app activity & updates can be viewed on a chat-like interface with your family members & groups.
With our product hunt launch, we are making SuperFam available across more countries & regions globally after seeing strong user love during our initial beta launch in India. Currently available across 20 countries with this launch. Please let us know if you would like to try this in your country as well - we are working on enabling more countries.
Why we built this:
We have lived through the problem of not having a dedicated product to solve for our family life - and decided to build SuperFam. Our core insight before we built this is that - for each dimension of family life that SuperFam solves - the behaviours already exist across families, but families lack a purpose-built and integrated tool designed with family needs in mind, and built around family behaviours and dynamics today.

@jozzire_lyngdoh This actually resonates a lot. What stands out most to me is having finances, documents, reminders, and safety in one place, instead of juggling WhatsApp, Google Drive, Splitwise, Notes, ... (and the list goes on)
@ladongnuklu_jamir1 Exactly! I got tired of having to get my family on 10 different apps to share things and get things done! Please do get onboarded with your family!
@jozzire_lyngdoh I love the app and actively use it for tracking family finances. It's been such a relief to move away from managing a household through multiple WhatsApp groups.

@jozzire_lyngdoh Hi Jozzire, congrats on the launch. How do you get users to actually follow through on document/info loads?
@zolani_matebese Hey Zolani, we made it super easy to add from any other app in 2-clicks (Files, Gallery, Email, WhatsApp). Also added a lot of placeholder suggestions to nudge them. Overall though, most users add a document - see how it works and how easy it is for their family too - and then onboard more documents over the first week!

@manas_jha Thanks for the feedback! Yes - we have tried to make the overall process of getting your documents from all other apps (Email, Files, Gallery, WhatsApp) to SuperFam really easy. Happy to hear more feedback as you try out more things!

Recently had a family event and all the details, reminders and To-dos were shared using SuperFam which made it a lot more easier. Easy to use and family friendly.

I don't like work
Shared to-do list feature is our family's favourite feature. It is almost a daily usecase in our family. Kudos 👏.
