I want to try this because I've been thinking of cutting back on sugar. I'm not sure if growing a virtual garden will help me, but it might be worth a try!

@britt_joiner It's a widget that you put on your home screen. When you feel sugar cravings that you find difficult to overcome, you press the button and you get an instruction for something you can do right now to relieve the cravings.

Hi Everyone! I'm Michal, and I have struggled with sugar for a long time, as has my friend Viktor. Last year, we decided we needed something to help us overcome this issue. Since we are a psychologist and a programmer, we made a habit-change iPhone app called Sugarless. This free app helps you log your sugar-quitting daily, receive practical tips, and motivates you by growing trees in a virtual garden when you succeed (which wither when you don't log). We also included a unique, 20-step habit-change program inspired by cognitive-behavioral therapy, as a paid option to sustain and develop the app in the long-term. This option also unlocks a panic button widget. You put it on your home screen, press it when you get sugar cravings, and get a recommendation for an immediate action to beat the cravings.
