Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Powell, a CS student. I built StatusEmbed while studying CS full-time. after watching way too many founders try to manage outages through pinned tweets and "is it down?" DM storms.
The biggest thing I learned? Users don't actually hate downtime they hate being left in the dark.
StatusEmbed keeps it simple so you can focus on the fix:
1- Auto-Detection: Your service goes down.
2- Auto-Update: Your status page updates itself instantly.
3- Auto-Alert: Every subscriber gets an email before they even have time to refresh their browser.
No manual updates, no frantic Twitter threads, and zero radio silence.
I’m running on a stack of Next.js, Supabase, Clerk, QStash, and Resend.
There’s a Free Plan available because I know what it’s like to build on a budget.
I’m looking for some "brutal" feedback from this community don't hold back. Ask me anything about the build, the logic, or why I spent 21 days obsessing over status bars!
