Hi everyone, my brother has a little restaurant in France and all I can remember from the terminal is that we had issues with it every single week. It was a problem for the business owners as well as for the customers. This new product seems to fix this kind of situation. What do you think of it?

cool to see revamp of hardware that improves UX and likely makes transaction process easier. Square continues to quickly enable working capital to small companies so they can grow quicker 👍

Looks really good. Love the option to send invoice to email. Many stores with regular terminal have this options but they rarely offer it to the customers. The only thing that is a big question mark is: How do I privately enter my pin code there? everything else mega cool

@aleksandars You don't need to enter a PIN. Because debit cards are run as credit through all of their readers.

@aleksandars I wish I could help but I'm working on a reading app, I don't plan to disrupt banks for the moment.

The design and UI is awesome. I wonder about the UX, how about privacy and how do blind people use it.

@mitchellvs the terminal uses the same encryption as their other readers for consumer protection: https://squareup.com/help/us/en/... For accessibility, Square added TalkBack, an accessibility service of Android. You need to plug in headphones and TalkBack will start automatically.
