What do you think? …

Raffi Chilingaryan
Hi hey hi! 😃 Since July of last year we've been posting moments of iOS craft daily on Twitter - from indie developers to big tech. We've made a ton of friends and our community has grown more than we ever expected, so we decided it was finally time to build a site of our own. One that showcased all of these clips and offered a navigation experience that our plain old social media feeds could not. But there was a problem: if said website did not slap we could say goodbye to any street cred we had gained over the past year 👋 and we really didn't want that to happen. 😿 Well today I'm quite proud to say that Joe (@_jsmth) and Neesh (@cheesyneesh) have pan-fried and simmered to perfection 👨‍🍳🍲 a web experience worthy of flaunting to your in-laws. Please enjoy the new best way to discover iOS apps. As always we would love to hear your feedback and thoughts. But maybe even more so we would love to hear any cool iOS app recommendations that you think deserve a feature. 👇 See you in the pixels, Raffi

SIP has become indispensable to find the best iOS apps in the industry and highlight novel UX patterns that set the standard for mobile interactions.

@ohwhen been appreciating your support Owen! Need to dig through Whop soon 🙂

@_jsmth  @cheesyneesh  @raffichill  Haha, that sounds too cool, wishing you guys success!

Ryan Hoover

Love the visual approach. ~14 years ago I worked on a similar project (much poorly executed) highlighting screenshots of mobile games' onboarding, share mechanics, and other flows of the user journey to centralize ideas and inspiration for other game devs.

What's next on the roadmap, @ @raffichill!?

Raffi Chilingaryan

@rrhoover more clips > job board > community profilesssssssss

I’ve been looking for something exactly like this to stay inspired by mobile UX. Being able to explore by category or interaction type is such a smart touch. Makes it so much easier for designers like me to study what’s working out there.

Raffi Chilingaryan

@aarav_pittman let us know how you like it!

Zura Isakadze

Great! I'm wondering if a visual tap indicator(How a finger is pressed/swiped) would be a big plus for some or it's just me. Ideally maybe there can be an option to enable or disable it. Cool product, thanks for sharing!

Raffi Chilingaryan

@scientist1642 oh boy we have DEFINITELY thought about this. It will be a big lift with the number of clips and gestures but probably worth doing at some point down the road.

Nika

Like the UX. Just a question: How can someone get into the list with their app? 😀

Raffi Chilingaryan

@busmark_w_nika DM it to us and we'll check it out. We post what we like!

Nika

@raffichill I couldn't find mail. Can you please provide me where I could write?

Enzo Manuel Mangano

Spotted in Prod is an absolute gem. Raffi isn’t just passionate about great apps—he’s obsessed. Today, this website is by far the best place for those who want to be exposed to exceptional taste

Raffi Chilingaryan

@enzomanuelmangano thank you Enzo!!! I want you to recreate every SIP clip with React Native.

Animesh
