For reference all ultra-short-throw FHD projector are around $1000 or more and with Splay, we give both the large and portable screen (display mode) + the ultra-short-throw FHD pico projector (projector mode)! @alex_wesley It looks like such a simple product, but there had to be some crazy engineering to get it to fold up so small! what's been the hardest part about building Splay?

@adamwulf It's all been non-trivial. Most important is the materials, mechanics, and the projector! We have patents granted on the material science for the only fully flexible projector screen and the durable retractable arms for one-setup expand/collapse! We also developed the only ultra-short-throw pico projector on the market! It's a lot for a 2-person development team, but we did partner with one of the leading nanomaterial science research centers on the Splay screen and the largest pico projector manufacturer for the projector! -Thanks, Alex -sent from my Splay
