After months of building a one‑size‑fits‑all expense‑tracker, we realised we had joined an already saturated market, and, embarrassingly, we seldom used our own app.

The breakthrough came during a one of my vacation trips: I found myself diligently recording every expense. It was clear that the only time I truly needed expense tracking was while travelling.

That insight led to Spentrip - a tracker designed specifically for travellers:
