Hey ProductHunt community! I'm the creator of SortResume.ai. It all started when I got sick and tired of manually filtering resumes for job postings - so I built an AI hiring assistant using GPT-4 that automatically scores the resumes for a given job posting. Lately it’s became humanly impossible for us to go through so many resumes, and as we’re already in the AI business, it was a logical step to build an AI tool that does the hard work for us. The tool worked so well, we figured out it can be product on it’s own, so we are now making it available for general use! We're excited to share it with you and welcome any questions or discussions about how to transform the recruitment process, so that it is fair and efficient for both job-seekers and hiring managers. Dive in, explore, and let us know what you think! A free plan to help you get started is included.

Congratulations on the launch of SortResume.ai! It's great to see how you've transformed the recruitment process with the first AI hiring assistant. Your approach to making hiring more efficient and stress-free is truly commendable. I'm curious, with the power of AI at the core of your product, how do you ensure fairness in the selection process for job-seekers from diverse backgrounds? Wishing you all the best with SortResume.ai's journey ahead!

@mashy thanks - there are many anti-bias solutions put in the system .. Two most common are: 1. Prompt engineering - there is a Stanford paper on how to do this 2. Removing bias factors like name, gender - before prompting with GPT-4 - this greatly mitigates any bias.

nice nice ... I believe the breakdown of the scoring is key as you can't say "chatgpt said you're hired" ... Good luck with your PH launch!

@daniel_pirciu Totally - each resume is processed with 15-20 GPT-4 API calls for the job description - that is key to get the best results

Interesting new discovery : This AI assistant is intended to help hiring managers and recruiters - but now even job seekers are gaining value from it by analyzing variations of their own resume and LinkedIn profile. If you are in the job market, you can test variations of your own resume for your dream job to see which version scores the best - this can be done at no cost to you.
