Hello Product Hunters! I'm so excited to make Simplicity Framework available to a wider community of developers and tech enthusiasts. I'm thrilled to have your support and hear your feedback! Simplicity is meant to be a simple, flexible, easy-to-use framework with a near-zero learning curve for developing applications in Node.js. With Simplicity, you don't have to learn new ORMs as it is ORM-agnostic. It supports Mongoose and Sequelize, enabling you to work with either No-SQL or SQL databases. Simplicity helps you organize your application's files into an easy-to-understand and well-organized directory structure, freeing you to focus on building your product rather than trying to figure out how to organize your files and directories. Leverage its clean architecture, expressive syntax, and modularity to power up your Node.js applications. I am so pumped to welcome new users into the Simplicity community. High-fiving you from across the interweb, Team Simplicity

Hey @simplymichael, this framework looks pretty neat! Love the flexibility with No-SQL/SQL databases. Quick question - is the setup beginner-friendly for someone just starting with Node.js? Also, how's the performance with larger apps? Anyway, congrats on the launch and good luck!

Hi @oliverjameshawthorne , Thank you for the comment and kind words. To your first question, absolutely yes. The framework is deliberately designed to be easy and that's where the name "Simplicity" is derived. In fact, it requires absolutely zero configuration after the initial installation to get the application up and running. I am, however, aware that sometimes, what appears easy to the creator(s) may not exactly be so for users. So, I am open to feedback and any ideas on how to make it easier to use and more beginner-friendly. Concerning the second question about performance with larger apps, at this time, I would say it performs just as much as any application built with Express.js. Performance tuning is definitely on the road map, and as more people get to use the framework and we gather feedback, we'd be able to tell where potential bottlenecks are and work to fix them. Thank you for the good wishes.
