SimpleBar - WP Admin Bar Customizer

SimpleBar is my first ever WordPress plugin after ~15 years of building sites for clients, products, and myself. The admin bar always annoyed me — too cluttered, too inconsistent across roles, and existing solutions felt overpowered or opaque. I wanted something lightweight, visual, and understandable at a glance. I built this primarily for my own workflows, then realised others might appreciate a clean, no-upsell, open-source approach to the same problem. It’s completely free and open-source.
