I keep thinking... Computers should feel way more magical by now.
AI can write, reason, see, code. And somehow we’re still clicking through folders and menus like it’s 2012.
The future I believe in is simpler: you tell your computer what you want, and it gets to work.
That’s what I’m building with Sidekick.
It starts with your Mac. But the bigger dream is enterprise. Giving entire organisations that same agentic layer across their devices.
Still early. Still building. But this is the direction I’m betting on.

@abdullah_farouk This month we moved our entire company to Mac from Windows. I am looking forward to your team feature. Want to find out where people are wasting time

@jay_janarthanan1 The enterprise team version is actually where we're putting most of our efforts into. That's gonna be a power system. Will definitely reach out soon once it's complete and tested.

the screenshots show it creating calendar events and Teams meetings straight from a plain English ask, which is the fun part but also the scary part. is there any permission scoping, like letting it touch Calendar and Mail but not Finder/Terminal, or is it currently all-or-nothing system access? asking because "just tell your computer to handle it" is great until it misreads one instruction and the blast radius is your whole Mac

@galdayan Hey Gal. It’s deliberately a power app, so the idea is to give it broad access. The safety layer is that consequential actions still need a final yes/no from you, and there’s an undo feature as well. Eg: you can use Sidekick™ to organize your desktop. And if you want to go back to the way it was, just click undo.

The website has a pricing section, I read it, and I still don't know what it would actually cost to use this.

@charlesas Thanks for that point of view. I'll make it clearer. Essentially it's a pay as you go for usage instead of a monthly subscription or one off payment. Download it and use it. If your credits run out, top up via the Top up button on the app.
