Hey Product Hunt Community! I'am Alex Nguyen, I am excited to present you SeniorIT, the frontend seniority test to help new programmers save time by assessing their skills for a job position. āŒ The problem: new programmers are not sure about if their skills are good enough for a position. āœ… The solution: a seniority test, that guide them in areas they lack and recommending resources for further improvement. As an experienced Frontend developer myself, I do not consider this tool as a full proof solution for assessing more senior programmers. However for new programmers, SeniorIT can help them figure out in which direction they could focus more on. I hope that you will find this tool useful and please share it between your friends that are starting to program.

Wow 🤩 Great job on getting your startup on PH! It looks super! What was the most rewarding part of the process?

@dmitry_sytsevich Thank you for your compliment! Its not a startup, I am just really passionate about making educational tools :D I think the most rewarding part was taking a look at the project after finishing it and noticing all of the details that were put there.

Nice project, I love the idea of giving an engineer the assess their own ability. So often that's feedback that comes way too late in the hiring process by which point a lot of time has already been invested and potentially wasted. My only feedback is some of the questions feel a bit subjective in whether or not they are related to seniority. Experience of CSS frameworks like tailwind, for example, wouldn't be something we'd look for in senior engineers at my company because we don't use them, but it may be top priority for another company that does. That said, top work on the UI and UX and appreciate it's probably difficult to cover all bases here.
