Selfocus

I have been using Selfocus for the past couple of days and have run into a glitch. It worked fine the first day, but from the next day onwards I just get the Good morning/good afternoon message, without any way to set my goals. I hope that this is a temporary bug that can be fixed because I would absolutely love to use this product.

That looks great! 👌🏼 Sometimes only a to-do list isn't enough... 🤯 I will have to try it out and see how it goes. 🤓 Are browser extensions supported on phones as well? Btw about the sounds - I'm personally a fan of thunderstorm and other nature sounds while aiming for hard focus ⛈ Would love to see it there!

Hi Munish, congratulations on releasing this cool product! Really like the idea and enjoy the overall design of your extension. After using it for a couple of days I can confirm that it has definitely improved my overall productivity and boosted my focus on my tasks. The results were so apparent that I have actually already recommended it to a few of my friends from University. With that said, there are a few bugs that I have encountered and some minor improvement ideas I thought you could maybe implement to further improve this extension: Potential Improvements: - Customisable Session Times (60 min max right now and should be extended) - Implement the ability to "Quit" and "Resume" working sessions - Implement some dashboards that showcase a variety of productivity metrics such as task-completion percentage; overall productivity; #of tasks done over the day; time per task etc. - Ability to add/remove blocked websites between working sessions - Adding Mouse-hovering information when hovering your mouse over some of Selfocus' icons in welcome page (no idea what each symbol represents) - Add session number Bugs: - Glitchy switch buttons when deciding whether to include site-blocking recommendations - Websites being blocked during Session break times. - Random websites being blocked that are not part of blocked-websites list. - Some blocked websites not actually being blocked by the extension, eg. "gmail.com" doesn't get blocked. The Stayfocusd google extension does a fine job dealing with this. Good luck and thank you for putting this out there. This extension has tremendous potential.

Sometimes focusing on long-form tasks at work can be a pain in the... but on days that finishing tasks on time is vital, you just can't afford to lose your focus on distractions. Selfocus helps you to keep that determination to get that work done by any means necessary. A must-have browser extension for those who find their mind wandering to funny Youtube videos and askreddit posts during the workday! : ) Good job and good luck in the future!
