Hello Hunters!

I’m excited to introduce Search to Play — a social cataloging platform for video game lovers. Inspired by Letterboxd/Goodreads and others it helps you discover new games, track your gaming journey, and share your passion with the community.

Core Features:

🎮 Discover Games
Search by genre, game mode, subscription (Game Pass / PS Plus), HLTB time, OpenCritic score, and more.

📚 Track What You’re Playing
Mark games as Completed, Playing, or Abandoned. Keep a backlog, create custom lists.

⭐ Write Reviews & Build Your Library
Your profile is your gaming journal — rate games, log hours, write reviews, and track progress.

👥 Stay Social
Follow fellow gamers, view activity feeds, and climb the Top 100 members leaderboard.

The platform is still in its early stages — I’m currently bringing in early users, gathering feedback, and shipping new features every week.

I’m building this solo, and sharing the full journey via our blog and subreddit.

Would love your thoughts, feature requests, or even just a upvote/share if you like the idea ❤️

Thanks for checking it out!

Love the UX! I am a massive user of letterboxd which changed the way I track movies watched. I hope Search to Play becomes a website which changes the way I track the games I played <3

Love the “gaming journal” angle—it adds a personal layer most platforms skip. Have you considered integrating with Steam or console accounts to auto-log playtime and completions? That'd be a slick next step.

@shreyans_assistiv Thanks! Just today shipped integration with Playstation ;) Xbox and Steam coming up next.
