A completley motorized zero-gravity gaming chair & workstation in a full scorpion design. Complete with adjustable seating and monitors + massage and heating fuctions.
If you ever get bothered during gaming/working, I feel like this Scorpion setup would deter anyone from trying to bother you during your session. I also feel like a kid who really wants this for no good reason, its got me like 🤩
Just make sure you order it from a company which actually has a logistics origanization around it.
I'll update with a review of the chair when I finally get it but just wanted to share my experience actually, well, getting the chair. It has been very painful. Too much trouble and miscommunication getting delivery for something that costs this much.
Basically, I was contacted last month (January 21st) that the chair was ready to be delivered from Sweden to Norway that week and was I available? We set a date and the day before that date, the delivery was postponed due to the need of the shipper's family to quarantine, to which I said "no worries, hope everything goes well". After that, delivery was postponed a few more times for the same reason and eventually the shipper stopped updating me after the last agreed date had come and gone. I texted and then called and eventually she texted me back to say that Imperatorworks had told they had another customer receiving their chair on February 24th (2,5 weeks thereof) so that's when I was getting mine so they can save money. Didn't even ask me if that date worked for me or not.
I didn't react negatively immediately, just said okay, because I wanted to process my frustration and my feeling that this was unfair. I contacted Imperatorworks later that day to ask them to explain their logic and help me understand their decision. They emailed me back saying they would contact the shipper. The shipper texted me back the next day, making claims (unprofessionally, I feel) that she was doubting she'd get paid by the company, etc. etc. She was going to call them. I told her "for all it's worth, I don't have a reason to think they are being shady, I just think they saw my side of the story and decided to make it right." That came back to bite me because again, I hear nothing until I text her this morning to ask if I'm getting my chair and she replies "yes, on the 24th".
After a series of emails and texts where she and Imperatorworks are passing each other the blame (and she reveals the 24th works for her because it's winter vacation in Sweden), I am more than certain that this company and their shipper are just trying to take advantage of my understanding and my being relaxed about having my plans changed 4-5 times. I don't think it's fair that one customer who pays over 4000 USD for a chair has to wait for another customer to get their delivery. Not to say anything about the customer service, disrespect for people's time, and unprofessional communication (which others might care more about -- I just feel yucky about being treated badly so another customer can get a timely service).
Report
I wonder if the movements are only possilble at an even ground. If you have an carpet for example, the scorpion would rip it totally off
