ResumaLive helps video creators introduce themselves in 2 minutes. Get your foot in the door. One swipeable link to send or add to your bio. Clients understand you fast, then they explore your full work.
ResumaLive came out of my own frustration as a filmmaker specifically, how people share their work and profiles online.
On one end, there's the PDF résumé. Text-heavy, doesn't fit the media heavy filmmaking industry.
On the other end, there's the personal website route. But that has a price of entry (monetary cost, software learning curve) especially tough for beginners just starting out.
ResumaLive's first iteration solved these issues. A home base for creators where you could easily update your latest work and details like a résumé, without dealing with technical complexity. Everything someone needs to understand you in one shareable link.
But something felt off.
No matter how great the ease of use was, no matter how easily both filmmakers and clients could navigate the link, it was useless if nobody actually engaged with it.
I realized something needed to sit between first contact and full immersion of the work.
It needs to explain what the creator is all about, fast. 2 minutes fast. Basic information, experience, work, personality, and links for those who want to explore further.
ResumaLive now lives in that space.
It doesn't replace the detail-rich places like website or full portfolio. It gets your foot in the door. Clients understand you fast.
