Hey Product Hunt! 👋
We're RegSQL, the team behind regsql.com — and we're genuinely excited to share what we've built.
The problem that drove us here:
Every developer I know has a ritual. You're writing a query or trying to match a pattern, you get stuck on syntax, and you end up bouncing between Stack Overflow, regex101, and some AI chat window — copy-pasting, tweaking, testing, repeat. It's 2026 and writing SQL and Regex still feels like defusing a bomb.
Why we built RegSQL:
We wanted a single, no-friction tool that handles both SQL generation and Regex pattern building with AI — no switching tabs, no signup walls. You open it, describe what you want in plain English, and you get production-ready code. That's it.
What makes it different:
- 🔁 SQL + Regex in one place — the only tool we know of that covers both
- 🎯 Dialect-aware SQL — pick MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, BigQuery; we generate the right syntax
- 🔓 No signup required — try it before you commit, zero friction
- 💬 Plain English input — describe the pattern or query you need, get the code
A question for the PH community:
We're debating our next big feature: Schema Upload (paste your DB schema for smarter SQL) vs. Regex Explainer (AI breaks down what each part of a pattern does). Which would you find more useful day-to-day?
We'd love your honest feedback — brutal is fine. 🙏
