Needed something like this. Apple makes accessing the billing page purposefully hard. Would be very useful for power users who constantly subscribe to apps with free trials.

Thanks @zerotousers! Good use case you mentioned for apps with free trials – I am working on a specific toggle just for trials as well, that will show up separately from the other subscriptions.

what data specifically are you using to monitor subscriptions.... email keyword detection, bank account scanning, receipt locators? I'm just trying to make sense of how this is different than the 5-6 versions that came before it. no disrespect, maybe there's something im missing.

Great question @jordan_bell2! Rebills does not monitor any data from external sources. It is completely private and relies on you to add your subscription details. I am exploring ways to add information through scanning or receipts, but keeping the app private is the first priority. The other features in Rebills that stand out are Widgets, Notifications, and my favorite, tracking which payment method is used for each subscription. Of course, many more features are in the works, like categories, additional currencies, and icons!

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I am extremely excited to unveil Rebills – an iOS app I have been working on for the last 2 months. “A simple way to keep track of all you subscriptions” I initially started with this idea of an app back in January (which seems like 5 years ago at this point), and shelved it many times out of frustration. That is, until the summer, when Apple announced iOS 14 with Widgets and the next version of SwiftUI. The updates to the SDK, the well-crafted new frameworks, and the idea of making a better world through apps, all collectively inspired me to pick up the app once again. And it seems very fitting as the entire world stays safe at home, and the number of subscriptions we have (whether it be for binge-watching or for meal kits) is growing exponentially. With that, here are the main features of Rebills 1.0. Lots more coming soon! ❇️ All in One Place ----------------- Add digital subscriptions, monthly loan payments, credit card bills, lawn care services, child’s allowance, or any other recurring expense you can imagine! 🛠 Metrics and Calculations ------------- Add details to your rebills, such as start date, tax surcharge, description, and even amounts in foreign currencies! Rebills will convert the amount into your default currency automatically. 🚨 Notifications ----------- Set notifications on your rebills to get alerted in advance of getting billed. Never forget to cancel an expensive annual subscription, or cancel a free trial! 🔒 Private. 100%. ------------ Your data is your data. The information you store in Rebills stays on your device, and there are no trackers or analytics services spying on your use of the app. Currency conversion data is retrieved directly from your device using only the supported currency codes in the app. Your rebills are not used for this in any way.
