Hey everyone,
My name is James, or Doc. I've been a filmmaker and storyteller for about 15 years, and for the past 5 I've been deep in building an interconnected world. Multiple storylines, maps, cultures, languages, which has turned into a screenplay, a manga, and now a video game. It's been a process, to say the least.
My biggest setback hasn't been the creative work itself. It's the loneliness of it. I've always been inspired by Tolkien and Lewis, "The Inklings," how they met in fellowship, discussed literature, dove into their characters, did live readings, and gave each other real creative input. I have a few people like that in my life, but in today's world, getting someone to read 10 pages and give thoughtful feedback is like pulling teeth… unless you're paying them.
I got tired of bouncing ideas off ChatGPT, getting back generic fantasy responses, and then when I did get somewhere useful, having it buried in a wall of chat history with zero organization.
So I built Quill.
Think of it as a coach, a story development team, an editor, or just someone to push back on your ideas while you build something significant alone. Quill is the center of Realmweaver: a very well-trained ear that pushes you deeper into your own world. It asks the questions about your characters you should be asking. It dives into the culture of people groups you've created. It finds the root driving theme of your story. That's the core, but it does a lot more:
-Guided sessions inspired by the Inklings. It doesn't write for you. It coaches. You create.
-It pushes back. Give a generic answer and it'll call you out, respectfully.
-It remembers everything. Reference a character you built weeks ago and Quill knows who they are.
-A living, evolving wiki built from your sessions. No walls of text. No doom-scrolling through chat history looking for that one response.
-Import your existing lore. Already have 50 pages of world-building notes? Bring them in and let Quill find the gaps.
-Public world pages. Share your world at realmweaver.io/worlds/your-world.
-Consistency checking. One click and it flags where your lore contradicts itself.
-You own 100% of your IP. We don't train on your data. We don't use your data. Delete everything whenever you want and it's gone, as it should be.
