Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m the solo maker behind ReadSavor. This product was born out of my own frustration and a desire to reconnect with the world. The "Why": After not using English for over 10 years, I wanted to pick it up again to understand different cultures. But the reality was brutal. The "friction" was unbearable. It wasn't just about looking up words. It was the nightmare of battling complex grammar, getting lost in long convoluted sentences, and struggling with polysemous words where standard dictionaries always gave the wrong context. I tried everything—traditional reader apps, browser extensions, even other AI tools—but none of them truly solved the fragmentation. I was still constantly switching apps, losing my place, and taking 30+ minutes just to decipher one page. I didn't want to study code; I wanted to read. The "How" (Vibe Coding Journey): Here’s the crazy part: I had zero software development experience. I built ReadSavor purely through AI Vibe Coding. 🚀 Day 1-15: I built the first text-based prototype. It wasn't perfect, but it worked. 🛠️ The next 6 months: I tore it down and rebuilt it. I spent half a year refactoring everything to make it a stable, production-ready SaaS. I built a native PDF engine, integrated advanced LLMs, developed a user/credit system, and separated the frontend/backend APIs to ensure a buttery-smooth experience. What ReadSavor is today: It’s the tool I wish I had 10 years ago. It supports 100+ languages and removes all friction so you can maintain a "Flow State" while reading native content (PDFs or Text). Instead of simple definitions, it provides a deep 3-layer analysis (Direct Translation, Contextual Meaning, & Grammar Analysis), allowing you to truly master any material regardless of difficulty.
