Hello Product Hunt, Did you ever want to take sketch notes for something new that you learned, a book that you read, or an interesting podcast you listened to? But you didn't have a tablet with you? The UI needs some help. Clicking the + icon gives the "text" block that you can edit. Clicking the draw button lets you draw, but once you do that how do you toggle back to the text editing function? Seems counter intuitive to have the draw on/off be the deciding factor, but I'm coming from a background where I'm expecting three buttons in a toolbar: arrow (select), draw & text. As for the clip art clicking to add and having it dump in the upper left corner is tedious. I tried dragging and dropping (got the green + when I dropped) didn't let me place the object in a faster one step process (good feature to implement). You might look at having presets for social media & presentation (aspect ratios). Is there a concept of more than one page? Consider changing "download" to share or export. I like that you have both PNG and PDF. What is Rapid Sketch's native format? There is definitely some wonkiness around trying to rename sketches and having the name update in your saved collection. If you decide to make this an official product I would look at licensing noun project for a vast library of SVG clip art. Look at adding a built in screenshot importer so folks can snap a screenshot and annotate the image in Rapid Sketch to then share with others (probably a big workflow usage for folks). As for a revenue model you should look at free (1 sketch), $5 packs (adds 10 more sketches). Have them save to the person's Google Drive. Create app versions with unlimited sketches if they subscribe to SetApp (https://setapp.com/developers) where you collect a monthly royalty. Nice job & good luck!

@stepheninoue This is some top notch feedback. Thanks a lot. I will agree a lot can be improved and will be working on that. The entire thing was built in 2 weeks, so still a bit clunky I would say. Multiple pages will be there, have thought about it. Will be changing download to share, and adding social media sharing. The name update can be improved yes. The revenue model and noun project is also really nice. Will look into it. Again, thanks a lot for the in-depth feedback. Really appreciate it.

Too good to be true! Too easy n' flexible to work around. I made a few sketches on the computer, I loved the experience. One on the tablet can create a major difference. Feedback for ?makers - Include shortcut like (cmd + z, cmd+c)

This is amazing! I have always wanted to make beautiful sketchnotes on my ipad, but it usually takes so much time to organize your handwritten sketches and notes. This provides the core value without compromising on the time. A great asset for any visual thinking practitioner. Not just that, I see its potential for making beautiful notes of any Masterclasses which are elegant and readable
