RAD Weather is a retro-future weather app for people tired of cluttered, ad-heavy forecasts. Instead of one number, it compares multiple official sources (NWS, Open-Meteo, Environment Canada, WeatherKit) and shows where they agree, where they clash, and how confident the forecast really is. Add a CRT terminal design, custom themes, widgets, Apple Watch, iCloud sync, and adjustable-tone briefings, with no popups or upsells. Less utility, more a weather terminal you actually want to open.

Hey Product Hunt, I'm Sam, the maker of RAD Weather. I built this because most weather apps either bury you in ads and popups or are too plain to be fun, and they all show a single confident-looking number that is often wrong. RAD Weather takes a different approach: it compares multiple official sources (NWS, Open-Meteo, Environment Canada, Apple WeatherKit) and tells you where they agree, where they disagree, and how confident the forecast actually is. Then it wraps that in a retro-future CRT terminal with custom themes, widgets, Apple Watch support, iCloud sync, adjustable-tone briefings from professional to unhinged, and no upsells burying the basics. The newest updates also make the iPad and Mac versions feel genuinely native instead of a stretched phone app. I'd love honest feedback, especially on the design, onboarding, and whether the multi-source confidence idea feels genuinely useful or just fun.

Thank you for your commitment to making an unbelievable weather app for your users. I’ve been on board for a few months now and thrilled to see you on here. More people need to use this app as their daily weather option! The aesthetics, the extensive data, the RAD Lab (hidden video games in the app 👀), the brutal quips, so much more….but most importantly, accurate weather information! Highly detailed and highly polished! I’ve never been so impressed by an app and how it has changed my whole approach to a meaningless portion of my day. As I see the weather changing around me, I’m excited to dive into the app and see how it’s going to capture that moment. It’s always a treat and the pace of your development has kept it exciting and inspiring. Continue being awesome, us fellow RADBOTS love it 😁

I hate weather apps... The classical ones, the regular ones, the funny ones, the official ones...
Yours is the first that I'll keep on my iPhone, iPad. Why?
- honest
- has clean screens
- relevant info is visible at first glance
- and still: has a sense of humor + tech touch combo
