Text copied from AI tools or the web often pastes with fonts and headings you'd never use yourself, especially in email or chat. It immediately looks pasted. Paste text-only fixes the mess, but also removes bold text, lists, and structure, forcing you to rebuild everything by hand. Purifai cleans the text so it fits naturally in the app you're pasting into. It removes weird formatting while keeping paragraphs, lists, and spacing intact. Lightweight App (11MB). Fully offline. No tracking.

Congrats on the launch! This is a simple but massive time-saver. Dealing with weird formatting after pasting from the web is such a daily frustration for anyone who writes emails or docs
Does Purifai also handle stripping out hidden links, or is it focused purely on visual formatting like fonts and headings?
Purifai
@manikse Thank you so much, glad you like it! :) It only keeps format that is working for the destination app, for example if you want to paste a full blown text into an email, it will convert that text into a more simple format, then clean it up further (if you selected email). If you have hidden links, they will either be totally gone, or visible in the text. There is no CSS or hidden elements remaining!

Been doing the Notes dance to strip junk. This looks like a sane fix. Keep lists, kill the weird fonts — pretty much what I want for Gmail/Slack. 11MB and offline is nice. Curious how it behaves in Notion comments.

@alexcloudstar Thank you, glad you like it!
I struggled with this problem for a long time. Before, I used to paste the text into Messenger first to strip the formatting, then copy it from there onward. But later I found Shift+Option+Command+V ;)

@mykyta_semenov_Â Same here, I also used paste without style, but having to manually rebuild bullets, bold text, and structure every time was painful. Purifai removes the junk formatting while keeping the parts the destination app actually supports.
I wish there was a way to trial it before having to pay. Make sure it actually works and would fit my workflow.

@chase_rief1 I'd love to offer a trial, but Apple currently doesn’t support trials unless you use in-app purchases, which Purifai doesn’t. That said, Apple’s refund process is straightforward, if it doesn’t fit your workflow, you can request a refund and they usually approve it.
@visbydev thanks. Paid, downloaded... it's not opening and just dies... I went to the site and then sent an email to your support email - it bounced back as an unknown email address..
Purifai
@chase_rief1 Hey Chase, sorry about that, that’s on me.
The support email was misconfigured, which is why your message bounced. That’s fixed now.
I definitely want to help you get this working. If you don’t mind, could you share:
macOS version
Intel or Apple Silicon
What happens when you open Purifai (does it appear briefly, crash immediately, or not show at all?)
You can reply here or email support@visby.dev again, it should go through now.
Thanks for your patience, and sorry for the rough first impression.
usually I am doing that through Google Translate. You pate text there and copy back.

@diana_oganesian It works for fully removing formatting, but it doesn't keep some basic formatting like lists etc. Purifai removes only what is needed!
Simple, clear, and incredibly useful!

@jojo_li Thank you!!
Congrats on the launch — Purifai nails a real pain point for AI-heavy workflows by keeping structure while stripping messy formatting, which feels like a must-have utility for modern Mac productivity.

@zeiki_yu Thank you for the kind words, glad you like it! :)
