@barnabybones My guess is a Corgi will have the flattest back to set your laptop on, but they tend to wiggle a lot. The top smartest dog breeds are Boarder Collie, Poodle and German Shepard. 😉

@jaredzimmerman Great questions! We have partnered with a company that allows us to connect with any smart device in their cloud, no matter the protocol. We chose BLE because of the value our collar attachment has when away from the house; activity monitoring and BLE tracking. We will plan on having a low cost hub available once we fully launch. What's great is if users have a tablet or computer they leave at home, a hub isn't necessary! We are developing routines that connect with the devices you already have (such as your Nest Cam and Thermostat) to do things such as, if your dog has been barking for 15 seconds, to notify you with your Nest Cam.
