Prometora lets anyone build a full online marketplace from a single prompt. No templates, no coding, just describe your idea and get a ready-to-use platform with listings, payments, messaging, and reviews (and much more) built in. Perfect for founders, creators, and entrepreneurs who want to launch fast, validate ideas, and scale their marketplaces, all in one place. Launch your online marketplace in hours, not weeks.

Prometora
I’m Rasmus, founder of Prometora.
I have recently built 4 online marketplaces, and I run a YouTube channel focused on marketplace building.
I have noticed that non-technical founders struggle to build marketplaces, even with no-code tools.
So I built Prometora - a marketplace prompting platform for none-technical users.
With Prometora, you can prompt a full online marketplace, complete with listings, payments, messaging, and reviews (and much more), all live in hours, not weeks.
The difference between Prometaora and existing prompt tools like Lovable, is that Prometora comes with built-in “system pages” that are needed for all marketplaces. These are pages like the "create-listing page", "seller dashboard page", "all listings page", "specific listing page" (and more). These "system-pages" are there to help you quickly build and launch your online marketplace.
I’d love your feedback on what you think! And if you would like to test it out there is a starter plan that gets you going fast.
Thanks for reading this, and if you like the idea, then an upvote or comment would mean a lot, thanks!

Would be nice to be able to try even one prompt without having to pay.
FWIW, this was the prompt I want to test:
A marketplace for SaaS products that would be hard to dupe with no-code app generation tools
Prometora
@osakasaul Hi Saul! Yes, I know , the challenge is just that each AI generation costs money on my end, so offering unlimited free tests becomes expensive pretty quickly.
@osakasaul @rasmus_sorensen Not sure how we can know it'll work then, sorry to hear

@osakasaul @oj_designz Hi again, check the videos I have posted. They show exactly how it works
Auto-Hashtag API
@oj_designz @rasmus_sorensen Thanks for that, saw the video.
Originally I wanted to just give it a try, and I totally respect your position on costs, but truth be told, I don't think in terms of "making a marketplace," but rather, getting listed in those where people already shop. My teams build SaaS, for the most part, so this means Chrome Store/extension galleries, Google Play, etc., to feed marketing funnels.
So, maybe it's just me, and everyone else sees what I don't, but perhaps beginning with why build a marketplace would be a worthwhile, short video (also use for Youtube Shorts and Tiktok)...? I did look on https://www.youtube.com/@rasmus1000.
Best of luck!
Smart idea! Creating an entire app from a prompt is neat, but as a layman, it's quite easy to forget (or not know) what features that a marketplace app must have – so this really mitigates that risk. I wonder what other general app ideas could do with that type of framework?
Prometora
@kmanderuk Hi Keith! Thanks so much, really appreciate that!
And you’re right: most people don’t know all the features a real marketplace needs, so the structure helps remove that uncertainty. That's the idea behind Prometora - so you get best of both world (Prompting + some structure).
This same approach could definitely apply to other types of apps too. For example:
- E-commerce stores (single-seller), Auction platforms, Booking & appointment apps, Membership/subscription platforms, etc
Marketplaces were the best starting point because they are super complex , but Prometora can absolutely expand into other app types over time.
@rasmus_sorensen I like the idea of using this for creating bespoke booking apps – probably a much more common use case for the typical SME – which could be built and put into real word use immediately. Whereas marketplaces are real tough not only to build but also to get started and operate.
I wanted to love this... however it's a bit deceptive that I can type my prompt but then need a subscription without knowing if this site will work. There's plenty of other sites like this (not as niche) like Base44 where I can generate a working website for anything with a lot of free prompts. Hope all the best anyhow!
Prometora
@oj_designz Hi OJ, thanks for the comment! I have multiple videos showing how it works. Check the Frontpage and on my YouTube channel. Thanks!
Swytchcode
Wow! This is amazing.
Are the code generated for payments and auth secure?
Prometora
@chilarai Thank you for the question Chilarai,
Yes, because those are part of the "system pages", so they aren’t generated from prompts.
For payments, the platform uses Stripe / Stripe Connect, and for authentication it uses Clerk. Both handle the sensitive parts on their end and follow industry-standard security practices.
Swytchcode
@rasmus_sorensen That's great! It's a brilliant idea. Keep it up
Prometora
@george_esther Hi Esther, thanks so much for the comment! I am glad you like it. The "starter" package is usually the one that marketplace builders start with to get to know the tool. You can check all the videos that shows how it works. Also, just send me an email if you want me to demo for you. Happy to jump on a call.
The challenge with having free AI generation is that it costs money on my end, so it would become quite expensive.
maybe i’m missing something here, but what anyone need to create a marketplace? sounds like creating a social network
Prometora
@daniel_chepenko Hi Dany , there are many marketplace founders out there with ideas, but struggling with actually building it.
Also, a marketplace is not like a social network. It can sound similar on the surface, but creating a marketplace is very different from creating a social network.
A marketplace needs a lot of functionality that’s specific to enabling transactions between buyers and sellers, such as:
-Listing creation
-Search + filters
-Messaging between users
-Booking or purchasing flows
-Payments + payouts (e.g., Stripe Connect)
-Reviews, disputes, availability calendars, etc.
-and many more.
A social network is mainly about user-generated content and connections, while a marketplace needs the entire infrastructure behind it.
