In October 2023, I found myself in need of a new pair of casual leather sneakers. They were exactly what I wanted, but the price was steep. I decided to wait for a sale, diligently checking the price every day for two weeks. Gradually, my daily checks became less frequent until I eventually stopped checking altogether. Then, in December, by sheer chance, I checked the price again and discovered it had dropped significantly. Unfortunately, they were already out of stock. A few weeks later, I faced a similar situation while shopping for a pair of jeans. Determined not to miss another price drop, I searched online for a solution. To my surprise, most price trackers only worked with Amazon, leaving me without a tool for other websites. So, I decided to build a simple script that checked the price of the jeans daily and sent me an email when the price changed. It worked perfectly, and I managed to buy the jeans at a reduced price. Introducing PriceTracker.cc, my first SaaS. This innovative tool allows users to track prices on most websites. Here’s how it works: 1. Simple Setup: Users provide the URL of the item they want to track and its current price, helping the algorithm identify the item initially. 2. Daily Price Monitoring: The app checks prices daily and sends email notifications when there’s a change. Users can set a target price to receive alerts only when the item reaches their desired amount. 3. Dashboard Management: The dashboard offers an overview of all active trackers, showing current and target prices along with the tracker status. Users can easily add, edit, or delete trackers. 4. Detailed Insights: Each tracker provides a detailed chart showing price changes over time. Users can update target prices, pause notifications, or delete trackers as needed. With online shopping continuously growing, consumers need a reliable tool to help them save money without the hassle of manually checking prices. PriceTracker.cc addresses this need by offering a versatile, user-friendly solution that works with most websites.
