Postaga is a free all-in-one tool to help you build quality links and get traffic to your website. In just a few minutes, you can: Find relevant outreach opportunities, get contacts and email addresses, and build and send personalized outreach email campaigns.
@parul_gujral This looks really interesting! So I'd say the two campaign types that would help you the most are Reviews and Tools. You might also have a lot of success running cold outreach campaigns with our Custom Search campaign. And we have a few more campaign types in the works that I think will help a lot so stay tuned...
But remember, if you're doing the work to build links, you may want to build the links to a site of your own. BTW, corrected URL for anyone reading this thread is: https://republic.co/snowball-money
Hey Hunters 👋
I’m Sam, maker of Postaga.
Postaga is a free all-in-one tool to help you automate and streamline the otherwise-tedious link building outreach process to get more links and traffic to your website.
If you’ve ever tried to manually build links, you know how incredibly time-intensive it can be. You have to: find relevant websites to reach out to; find contacts and email addresses for people at those websites; create personalized emails; and then email and follow-up.
Postaga does all of that in just a few minutes.
From finding outreach opportunities to getting contacts and sending emails, Postaga takes care of your entire outreach campaign from start to finish.
With Postaga, you can start by building a particular outreach campaign type. Right now, we have:
- Resources outreach -
Get your post linked to in an authoritative resources blog post
- Skyscraper -
Get websites to switch their links from your competitors to your blog post
- Link roundup outreach -
Get your content added to a link roundup post
- Mention outreach -
Get shares and links from other websites you’ve linked to in your posts
- Tools outreach -
Get your product added to a list of helpful relevant tools
- Review outreach -
Get your product reviewed by blogs that are reviewing your competitors
- Expertise outreach -
Have other blogs and websites cite your expert opinion on a topic
- Custom outreach -
Build your own custom outreach campaign as you’d like
Then, Postaga will help you build a list of websites to reach out to, and suggest recommended potential contacts.
After that, Postaga finds the contacts’ email addresses. And if Postaga cannot find the exact right person, it will provide other suggestions for you with their contact information.
Postaga then lets you create a personalized email sequence for your selected contact.
(If you do not want to use Postaga to send your emails, you can always export your research and contacts data to a CSV to send your own emails)
And because Postaga is enhanced with AI, you can easily personalize your emails for your outreach contacts instantly. You can even include snippets of your contacts’ blog posts in your personalized emails to further personalize your outreach.
In as little as a few minutes, you can create and send a link building outreach campaign to get more links and traffic to your website.
@luca_renga Thanks, looking forward to hearing your feedback!

@sam_brodie Congratulations on the launch. Pretty useful one for all content writers who need the extra boost.
Also, I liked your on-boarding sequence. The way in which Postaga scanned the website and blog posts makes it even more appealing to me.
Definitely got my positive vote and cheers :)
@devaonbreaches Awesome, thanks! We're going to be using that functionality a lot more in the future to automatically suggest campaigns for you to run, so stay tuned!

As someone who does a lot of outreach, this looks interesting. Quick question - where do you find these outreach opportunities? Is it from a database of websites you track? Or, it is pulled up in real-time from Google or another source? I'm just worried that as you scale users, the top websites get shown to everyone in the list and therefore they get so spammed, they stop responding. Hope I am making sense here.
@anand_sriniv Great question! For now they're being pulled in real time, mostly using some advanced Google queries. However, we're building up our own database as we go and eventually will show smarter results that take into account stuff like Domain Rating or even the reply rate and success rate of the opportunity :)
Let me know if you have any other questions!
As someone who gets a lot of the kind of emails that this and other tools like this generate – “Hey I mentioned you, can you share my post? Hey, I like your post [autogenerated BS] and thought maybe you’d like to write about my stuff? Hey, I would like to write a post about [whatever] and post it on your blog so I can link to my website from it“ I can tell you - the amount of annoyance you are causing is immeasurable. Everyone can tell that these emails are automated, and nobody likes them.
This may work for some people, but it’s a net-negative in the world.
@cenk Thanks for the feedback. I understand your concern and we know there are certainly some people that feel that way.
Our main goal is to help people find opportunities, provide value, and make real connections more easily. We do provide the ability to customize every email, and give you a lot of information about the sites that you’re reaching out to - key pages, social profile info, even snippets of their writing that our AI uncovers. So we encourage people to dive deeper and really customize the emails to make a more genuine connection. Because, as you know, sending a generic email isn’t going to get a positive response.
There are a number of campaign types: Resources, Tools, and Roundups in particular, where we think we’re helping the writers we reach out to by giving their posts/roundups additional content that they don’t have to find on their own.
Also, if you’re just starting out with your business, it’s REALLY hard to break in these days. If you’re a solo founder with no connections and starting with a new domain, the hill to climb is quite tough - much tougher than it was 10 years ago when I started my first business. We hope this levels the playing field a little bit.
@sam_brodie Thank you for the clarification. I understand where you’re coming from, and it’s true that the hill these days is much higher than it used to be. I can see the value of Postaga, I just wish people would use these tools in a less spammy way. Best of luck to you!
@cenk Totally agree, and our hope is to get better and better at facilitating genuine connections. Thanks!

Hey Sam and Andy - congrats on the launch!
For someone like myself who knows very little about SEO and how to drive traffic to a website and may just be getting started with building something, what type of campaign do you think makes the most sense for me?
And any general background on what types of campaigns make sense for various customers and use cases would be much appreciated!
@allen_meringolo Good questions.
Generally, I would say that a Mention campaign is the easiest to do because it finds your blog post's outbound links and gets contacts for people at those websites. Then, we have a few templates you can use as a starting point to give you some ideas for reaching out and building relationships.
I would also recommend a Roundup or Resources campaign. I like these campaigns in particular because in my experience they have a relatively high success rate. For the Roundup campaign, you are reaching out to websites that regularly publish link roundup posts or newsletters, and sharing your relevant article with them to submit for their next roundup. Here, you are doing them a solid favor in providing them additional relevant content for their audience, so they don't have to spend so much time looking for new content themselves.
And with Resources campaigns, you are reaching out to websites with existing resource pages on a given topic that link to other blog posts and content. Submitting your fresh content adds value to their resource page, providing them something new to add and share with their audience.
For your question on what types of campaigns for various customers and use cases, there's a wide variety, but I would say...
If you have a blog and are publishing new content that you want to promote:
- I would run a Mention, Resources, and Roundup campaign for every blog post
- Run a Skyscraper campaign (if you have a premium SEO tool that can get you backlink profiles, like Ahrefs, SEMRush, or Ubersuggest)
- Run an Offer Expertise campaign to find expert roundup posts and add your feedback
If you have a product that you want to get more exposure / PR:
- Run a Reviews campaign to reach out to other blogs to get write-ups about your post
- Run a Tools campaign to submit your product to other websites
If you want to do cold outreach to get more sales and users:
- Run a Custom Search campaign, search for your target customers, and reach out to them with a personalized email
Hope that helps!

@andrew_cabasso That was awesome! Thank you, Andy! I appreciate it.
Hey Sam, as an experienced SEO professional with 8 years of experienced, this tool looks great - and the market definitely needs a platform that provides a free option. The only problem I see right now is that I'm trying to audit my site and get the outgoing links on my blog posts, and it keeps returning 0 links found or 0 blogs found. My site is built with full stack javascript (React), and it appears like it doesn't know how to scrape the site. Is this an issue on my end or is this something that's in the works?
@ryan_bucci Hey Ryan! What's the site URL? It's possible that if you need javascript enabled to load the blog content, that Postaga can't find it. I believe that's also not great for SEO (though I know crawlers have gotten more sophisticated).
@sam_brodie Oh I'm aware haha. The URL is: https://www.resumecompass.co/ If the audits could somehow parse the javascript, that'd be a huge feature for JS web apps like myself. I'm playing around with the platform so far and I'm really liking it. You and your team did a great job!
@amfraine Thanks!
When you get started, our first campaign by default is a test campaign. This is to help you get acquainted with the platform, and also not inadvertently send out an email you didn’t mean to!
After the first test campaign, all of Postaga is unlocked and you can run and send out as many live campaigns as you want.
