@ericdiepeveen Plus, not everyone wants to be bombarded with sexual content all over the place.

Hey guys I built Porn Blocker Pro after seeing all of the ad blockers pop up in the App Store. I decided that a better use case for Apple's content blocking extensions was to filter out adult content for those of us who either don't want that temptation on our phones or for family's wanting to protect their children from unbridled access to porn in safari. Let me know if y'all have any questions!

@kevinleehenry cool. Sounds like a great use case. Can you tell a bit more about how it works? Where do you get your list of sites to block? Do you do anything with Advertising?

@jfilcik I can't go into too much detail about how it works and how we identify which sites to block (kind of the secret sauce right?) but I can tell you that it blocks millions of pornographic sites. I just launched the app so about to start testing some paid user acquisition.
@kevinleehenry fair enough πŸ˜„. Other similar apps for PC often ask "do you want a PG, PG-13 or R rated Internet?" Looks like you're focused more narrowly on Porn rather than more tailored limiting. Is that fair? Any plans to broaden?

@jfilcik I've seen that rating option before and think that is great - right now it is definitely focused on porn vs. trying to rate the entire internet. Not sure exactly how I would be able to do this w/ the limitations of the content blocking extensions of iOS 9 but if you have any ideas I'd be happy to look into them and possible integrate it into the next version.
Everything that Kevin makes is golden, so this probably is as well :D πŸ‘Š
Preposterous! :)
How is this different / better than `Settings > General > Restrictions > Websites > Limit Adult Content`?

@giordanobd the biggest difference is that this app blocks millions of sites that might contain objectionable content not just a little which is what this setting does. Apple's setting works kind of like Google's limit adult content setting which still allows someone to find and access pornographic sites.
