Hi ProductHunt, I built Poddley to address a niche frustration: I’d remember an interesting point from a podcast - and even the guest who said it - but I’d have no idea which episode it came from or where to find the quote. Tracking it down meant skimming transcripts for hours, searching for a needle in a haystack, or just giving up. Most podcast search tools are organized around shows, not speakers, and they never label who’s actually talking. Poddley takes a guest-first approach to transcript search. Instead of starting with a podcast, you start with a person and explore everything they’ve said across different appearances. The current version is an early proof of concept covering ~10 well-known podcasts. It includes timestamped searchable transcripts, guest pages, quote-labeling and RSS feeds you can follow for new appearances. I’m trying to figure out whether this solves a broader discovery problem or just scratches my own itch. Curious to hear: have you ever tried to track down a specific podcast quote and couldn’t find it? Or looking for a specific topic talked by a specific person. Would love some feedback:)
