PixiEditor aims to be all-in-one solution for 2D image editing. We want to achieve this by building a solid foundation with built-in tools for raster art, vector art, and animations. To make PixiEditor fully customizable, we built advanced Node Graph rendering, that allows to create basically anything. From tiled texturing workspace, procedural animations (that wouldn't be possible to make by hand), to even rendering 3D shapes. The project started as a pixel-art editor, but quickly evolved into something much more complex. Version 1.0 was downloaded over 100 000 times on all platforms and received 93% positive rating on Steam. The biggest features of this launch: 1. Dedicated toolsets for pixel art, vector and painting. All toolsets can be used on one canvas, so you can mix vector with raster in your artworks! 2. Animations. For now you can make frame by frame animations or use nodes to animate your custom shaders. 3. Node render system. All layers, effects, layer structure are nodes or a result of node connections.
