This is great. Personally I think that the main use case for these live streaming platforms is the accessibility and interaction layer for live events (a whole new take on TV) rather than regular people 'performing' / broadcasting. Since professional media organizations have already had access to Periscope Producer... it only makes sense for Twitter to open it up for everyone. Well done. 👏👏

Anyone know how to get this to work for a GoPro or YI 4k Action cam? It shows on the page that it will work with GoPro, but isn't specific that I can see and I actually have the YI.

@kmullett I was just thinking about this type of use. Live action drones!
@kmullett you can use live air solo and switcher pro on phone as opposed to OBS on computer

Really great to see this opening up to the world, and hopefully more people will stream as a result. I think that conventional media companies will have to transform fast, I definitely see the trend steering away from TV and mass media and towards smaller, more specified audiences.

1. How does this compare to already available Facebook Live API? (Other than, of course, the fact that you stream on their respective platforms) 2. Twitter seems to be getting all the Periscope features one by one. What future are they envisioning for Periscope?
