@christian_arno Excited to take this for a spin. Just signed up and the first impression as a person living in the US is that the interactions and user experience are a bit UK centric (from Postcode to 'Boilers'). Is that by design i.e. is this targeted at UK market first? All the best.

@christian_arno @birinder_ Hi Birinder, thanks for taking a look! Yes, it is trickier than I'd like - as a translation/localisation industry veteran (!) - to make Pawprint both global and locally relevant. This is partly because of how subtly differently we all live in different countries, but also because of the different input numbers for our carbon footprints based on the energy mix in different countries. On the plus side, I think the product is 'directionally right' in most developed countries. We've started signing up our first business customers now, many of whom have international employees, so we'll work with them to make it relevant in as many countries as possible. If you're interested, you can read about our current business relationships with BrewDog, the Scottish craft brewer, and Standard Life Aberdeen, the financial services business, using the links below. https://www.prweb.com/releases/b... https://www.standardlifeaberdeen...

I'm Christian, founder and CEO of Pawprint. For most people, climate change feels like a problem that’s too big to solve. Pawprint is changing that. By breaking the problem down into “measure, understand and reduce” we’re cutting it into bite-sized chunks that you can do something about. First up is ongoing measurement—it ensures you’re always on top of your impact. From the first time you use the tool to calculate your Pawprint (your yearly carbon footprint) to when you achieve each of your carbon reduction goals, we’re tracking your progress. With data that’s validated by leading carbon expert Mike Berners Lee, ours are numbers you can trust. Second is ‘understand’. No more question marks around what actually makes a difference. By demystifying our impact on climate change, Pawprint empowers you to make choices that are right for you and the planet. Plus you’ll be well equipped to whip out some knowledge next time the topic comes up! Last but certainly not least is ‘reduce’. This chunk is all about taking action, doing something, leaping into the breach to save life as we know it. Based on the information you’ve given us, we challenge you to make small lifestyle changes. Your Pawprint will only drop when this behaviour is locked in, so you’ll know when you have managed to do your bit. No more guessing or feeling guilty, just actionable steps to help you achieve your goals. Pawprint is available now for consumers, having launched in late September. We are also now developing a business proposition which is in beta launch stage and has Brewdog and Standard Life Aberdeen signed up as customers. Pawprint for Business focuses on measuring the impact employees have on a businesses carbon footprint and works in much the same way as Pawprint does for consumers, but with the questions tailored towards a work environment and with reporting and progress available at an aggregate level for business to see their impact.

@caelin_sutch Thanks loads Caelin! There's lots more to come as we make it more social (the ability to work on your Pawprint with others at home, at work and beyond) and more engaging on an ongoing basis. Hope you'll follow our progress, and really appreciate any specific ideas you have.

@christian_arno A social aspect to this product would be really interesting (sharing/tracking progress with friends). I'm looking forward to watching this project get even better!
