Paste helps people keep, search, and organize everything they copy across Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Today we're launching Intelligent Clipboard - Paste can now suggest which of your copied items you'll most likely paste next, based on what you're working on, right on your Mac.
Everything you copy has a moment when it's needed again. Finding the right item at that moment was still your job. Now, when you switch to Suggestions, Paste looks at what you're working on and brings the likely items forward. Clipboard is powered by Apple Intelligence, and everything stays on your Mac. It suggests, it doesn't decide. You still choose what to paste. It's available on macOS 26 and later with Apple Intelligence enabled.

Everything on the mac instead of sending copied text to the cloud is also a plus for privacy.
One question: does it slow down the mac or use more battery when hundreds of copied items are saved?
Clipboard history is already a huge time saver but intelligent could make it feel much more natural.
The real value here might be reducing tiny interruptions throughout the day. Those little copy and paste moments add up.
This could be especially useful switching multiple projects. Does it learn individual workflows over time?
Interesting approach to making clipboard management proactive instead of reactive. How accurate are the suggestion in everyday use?
