@samrye_enspiral Actually, I do. I really enjoy writing on paper, but it’s not always convenient. Sometimes writing on a computer is simply easier, and that’s the only reason I use a digital version.
@zikosichi Ah ok sorry so it's more of a "typing on paper" functionality than a "writing on paper" app? I assumed it was stylus / digital pen driven but now I see the words more clearly are fonts.

The texture of this product is really interesting. Everything from the visuals and motion effects to the sound gives me a real sense of authenticity.
However, I think the note-taking style when writing could be improved. Could it be changed to a handwriting font? The current printed font breaks the sense of immersion a bit.
Also, I suddenly really want to view my e-books in this format on my computer or tablet!

@zikosichi I'm not entirely sure since I don't do UI design, but you might want to check Google Fonts for some open-source fonts that look good to you.
Additionally, when I use Excalidraw, I find the handwriting fonts they provide to be very beautiful. Since they are an open-source product, they might have shared exactly which fonts they use, and that product is quite popular.

Seems like a lot of simpler/cleaner apps - page switchers, memory cleaners, and your notebook have appeared in the PH space recently despite the clutter of ai junk. What might push me (user) to step out of my google-docs comfort zone to use Paper instead of 'real paper'?

@peterz_shu Hey Peter, you’re making some very good points. I use real paper quite often myself, but even more often I write on a computer. And because I love real paper—the experience of flipping pages, having limits, and actually touching something—that’s exactly what I felt was missing from Google Docs. For casual writing, I wanted something that feels closer to real paper. So the main thing that might encourage you to step away from Google Docs is the feeling that Paper can bring.

Its crazy to think this kind of thing exists! I mean, we have now made a digital version of a very simple, basic physical tool.
