Last September I crossed the channel on one of these Origin boards to raise money for charity: water... somehow we came close to beating the world record crossing time. As much as I'd love to say it was thanks to our balance and extreme fitness levels, it was 99% down to the lightweight Origin Paddleboards that we were using. They've just launched a new range on Kickstarter (fully funded in the first 48 hours). I love the new cork deck-pads they've added and they pack down to a pretty small size (7kg) so make for pretty idea summer #microadventure trips as well.
